DESIGNING WEBDOCK’S NEW DATA CENTER
We have published a new customer story about the design and operation of Webdock.io’s new data center.
For this project, the ITcare team built the network architecture, services design, automation, and operational model for a multi-vendor EVPN-VXLAN fabric, ready to support VPS, VM, and bare metal workloads at scale.
A few key points from the project:
– EVPN Type 5 IP Fabric for a predictable L3 underlay
– VXLAN extended to the hypervisor for real multi-tenancy flexibility
– Active-active multihoming with EVPN ESI
– Automation based on a single Source of Truth
– Bare metal provisioning through DHCP and PXE
– Continuous operations through our 24/7 NOC
This is a strong example of how modern hosting infrastructure should be built: each layer has a clear role, while automation reduces operational complexity.
Thank you Arni Johannesson and Webdock.io for the trust.
