MAJOR CORE NETWORK UPGRADE UNDERWAY
We’re excited to be part of a large-scale transformation project for one of the leading Internet Service Providers in their region. As a trusted technology partner, ITcare was involved from the very beginning with consulting, selecting, and ordering the hardware as an official Juniper Networks Partner.
After careful evaluation, the choice was clear: the Juniper MX304, a compact, high-performance routing platform built for next-generation IP/MPLS networks, with robust support for subscriber management and broadband edge services.
The first batch of 10x MX304 routers out of a total ~40 units has just been delivered, and our team is already working hard on the preconfiguration and rollout plan. With the High-Level Design (HLD) finalized, we’re now deep into the Low-Level Design (LLD) and preparing everything for a smooth deployment.
This upgrade will make the customer’s core network 400G-ready, including a nationwide 400G ring that significantly improves resiliency, performance, and scalability. Once deployed, the network will be among the most modern and capable infrastructures in the region, ready to support the increasing demand for high-speed, low-latency services.
