MDNOG 1: Moldova Network Operators Group, 8-9 Oct 2026
Moldova has been running networks for thirty years without ever having a network operators group. As of this year it has one, and now it has a date.
MDNOG 1 takes place on 8 and 9 October in Chisinau.
ITcare helped start MDNOG together with Trabia, and watching it grow has been the good kind of surprise. What began as thirty people in a room in June is now over 70 members from more than 30 Moldovan companies, and registrations for October are already arriving from six countries across three continents. Engineers from Juniper Networks, FastNetMon, Inter.link, LANX, RIPE NCC, Global NOG Alliance and many others, have confirmed they are coming.
Two days of peer-reviewed technical talks. Routing, peering, security, automation, infrastructure. Attendance is free.
If you run a network, work peering or transit, keep an ISP or a data center alive, or write the automation that holds it together, this is your room. Registration is open at mdnog.md, and the call for presentations runs until 1 September. First time speakers are welcome and the PC will help shape the talk.
The event is non profit and runs on the companies that back it. If yours would like to, the sponsor pack is at [email protected]
See you in October.
