MEET ANA VIȘNEVSCHI – VP OF CUSTOMER SUCCESS & PEOPLE OPERATIONS AT ITCARE
This March, we continue our ‘Meet the Team’ series by introducing Ana Vișnevschi, our VP of Customer Success and People Operations. She has been with us since the beginning, when ITcare was just a dream, shaping ideas and playing a key role in developing essential projects for client success and employee relations.
– What has been your greatest moment of satisfaction in your career at ITcare so far?
“The greatest moment of satisfaction was when we managed to grow the team from zero to 30 employees. It was a process full of challenges, but also accomplishments, and this proved that we have built something truly valuable together. We are also confident that we will continue to grow, bringing in hundreds of the best professionals. Moreover, we have managed to identify and attract valuable opportunities, from projects on Upwork to direct contact with international telecom companies, which strengthens our position in the market.”
– What advice would you give to women who want to pursue a career in IT, given that it is a male-dominated field?
“It is important not to let this intimidate you. Have confidence in yourself, follow your passion, and remember that diversity in teams always adds value. Surround yourself with people who support you and inspire you to move forward. Be courageous, continue learning, growing, and constantly improving your skills. Opportunities will come when you actively embrace your professional evolution.”
– How do you feel being part of a team where 90% of the members are men?
“Like a mom to everyone” (laughs). The team is one of the best! I’m surrounded by wonderful people, some of whom have become friends in my everyday life, which says a lot. I find it very easy to interact with my colleagues. There is no place for envy, competition, or gossip. We are all very positive, professional, attentive, and the most creative ones among us even delight us with special playlists we listen to at the office.”
– How do you relax after a day of work, given the intense pace of activity in IT?
“Besides the intense pace, IT is a field that offers you incredible flexibility, which is highly appreciated. You can be present and dedicated, even if you’re anywhere. Like every woman, I have my weaknesses, I find peace by enjoying a coffee, at the pool, practicing fly yoga, taking care of a few plants on my terrace, doing photography, looking at the stars through a telescope, or driving my husband’s nerves.”
– How do you see ITcare in the future, and what are the plans for our team and projects in the coming years?
“I see ITcare continuing to grow and evolve. We will become an increasingly diverse team, and through our professional dedication, we will strengthen valuable partnerships with clients from multiple industries. Our goal is not only to be leaders in the field but also to be an example of a united, inspired team that is always ready to face the challenges of the future.”
